Service Overview

Owner-Side Project Oversight

Your expert on call — you stay in charge.

You're coordinating your own renovation. You've selected your contractor and your design team. But the decisions keep coming — change orders, delays, disputes, unexpected costs — and you're navigating them without an independent expert in your corner. This service changes that. Most of this service is available remotely to homeowners nationwide. When a project calls for an on-site visit, that can be arranged wherever you are — travel is a straightforward add-on, and a minor one next to the cost of the project itself.

How This Service Works

You Coordinate. We Guide. You Stay Informed and Represented.

This is not full-service representation — it is expert advisory in the background. We conduct regular progress reviews, evaluate change orders and invoices before you approve them, flag issues that require your attention, and give you the informed perspective you need to make confident decisions. You remain the decision-maker and the primary point of contact with your project team. We help make sure you're never making those decisions without the information you need.

MEAA provides observations and recommendations to you, the homeowner. We do not direct contractor means, methods, sequencing, or field work, and we do not replace your contractor's professional responsibility for executing the work.
