Service Overview

Project Clarity Session — get organized before your renovation begins

Clarity before you commit.

Before signing a contract, approving a design, or selecting a contractor — you deserve to understand exactly where you stand. The Project Clarity Session is a structured, expert-led consultation designed to surface the risks, gaps, and priorities most homeowners never think to ask about. Conducted via video or phone — available to homeowners anywhere in the country. This is a paid service — you can first use a free 15-minute introduction call to determine whether it may be appropriate for your situation.

What This Service Delivers

An Expert's Eyes on Your Situation — Before the Stakes Get Higher

Most homeowners enter renovation projects without a single independent advisor in their corner. Architects, contractors, and designers each carry their own objectives. The Project Clarity Session changes that dynamic from day one.

During this 45–60 minute recorded session, you share your situation, your goals, and your concerns. We provide structured, experienced analysis — identifying what to verify, what to challenge, and what decisions may require licensed professional input before you proceed.

You receive a written summary with prioritized next steps, delivered after the call. This isn't a sales pitch — it's a genuine advisory session built to give you real clarity. For some homeowners, it's also where ongoing Owner-Side Oversight naturally begins.

Ideal Situations

Is This the Right Starting Point for You?

You're early in planning and unsure how to evaluate your options or structure your decisions.

You've received proposals, documents, or contracts and want an independent perspective before proceeding.

Something feels off — with your contractor, your design team, or the direction of your project.

You want to understand your risks before committing to a significant investment.

You've never navigated a major renovation and want guidance from someone without a financial stake in the outcome.

You want to know what questions to ask before your next critical meeting or decision.

Why This Call Matters

A $250 Call That Helps You See the $50,000 Questions Coming

The average homeowner renovation runs 20–30% over its initial budget. Design errors caught during construction cost three to five times more to fix than if they're spotted in review. A single unreviewed change order can hide tens of thousands in unjustified charges. The Project Clarity Session puts an independent, owner-side set of eyes on your project before those numbers become your problem.

The Project Clarity Session is an advisory and coordination support service. MEAA Group Consulting does not perform construction work, act as a licensed contractor, provide architectural or engineering services, provide code inspections, act as a public insurance adjuster, or replace any licensed professional required by state or local law. All final project decisions remain with the homeowner and the appropriate licensed professionals. Where licensed professionals, permits, inspections, engineering, or architectural services are required, the homeowner remains responsible for engaging the appropriate licensed provider.
