Service Overview

Design document review — homeowner-side perspective on your renovation plans

Know what you're approving before you sign.

Architectural drawings, interior specifications, and finish schedules are complex documents. Most homeowners sign off on them without fully understanding what they contain — or what they don't. This service provides a structured, owner-side review designed to represent your interests before construction begins. All documents are reviewed digitally — no matter where your project is located, we can review your plans, specifications, and contracts and deliver a clear written report.

What the Review Covers

A Thorough Owner-Side Analysis — Not an Engineering Inspection

This is not a code review or structural analysis — those require licensed architects and engineers. This is a coordination and owner-decision support review: identifying what is missing, what conflicts between documents, what raises budget risk, and what questions you should be asking your design team before construction begins.

Review of architectural plans and elevations for owner clarity and coordination gaps

Assessment of interior design specifications and material schedules

Identification of scope conflicts or omissions across documents

Budget risk observations based on specification choices

Written review report with prioritized action items and questions to raise

Ideal Situations

When to Commission This Review

You've received a set of architectural drawings and are being asked to approve them.

Your interior designer has presented finish schedules or specifications and you're unsure what you're committing to.

You want an independent second opinion before authorizing a design phase.

You're concerned that your design documents may not align with your budget or construction intent.
