How It Works
A Clear, Structured Approach to Every Project
I follow a proven personal process that brings order and clarity to what can feel like a chaotic experience — so you always know what's happening and why.
Step 01
Discovery & Assessment
I begin by understanding your project, your goals, and where you currently stand. Through a structured consultation, I identify risks, gaps, and opportunities — and determine which service best fits your needs.
Clear picture of your project's current state
Identified risks and gaps you may not be aware of
Recommended service path tailored to your situation
Step 02
Scope & Engagement
Once I've identified the right service, I define the engagement scope, deliverables, and timeline. Everything is documented clearly — no surprises, no ambiguity.
Written engagement agreement with clear scope
Defined deliverables and milestones
Established communication cadence
Step 03
Expert Review & Analysis
I apply my 20+ years of expertise to review, analyze, and evaluate — whether it's design documents, contractor proposals, contract terms, or construction progress. You receive organized, plain-language findings.
Comprehensive review of all relevant materials
Written report with findings and action items
Priority issues clearly identified
Step 04
Guidance & Decision Support
I walk you through my findings, answer every question, and personally support you in making confident, informed decisions. You are always in control — I provide the clarity.
Structured walkthrough of all findings
Clear recommendations with reasoning
Support in negotiations or communications with your team
Step 05
Ongoing Protection (If Needed)
For longer engagements, I continue to monitor, review, and personally advise throughout the life of your project — reviewing change orders, tracking progress, and keeping you informed at every milestone. Site observations are handled by photo and video submission, so this works the same wherever your project is.
Regular milestone reviews and reporting
Change order and scope management
Issue identification before they become problems
FAQs
Common Questions
How long does the process take?
The first step is a free 15-minute introduction call. It is a brief, high-level conversation about what is happening with your project, whether MEAA may be a fit, and a possible next step. If a paid service is appropriate, its scope, timing, deliverables, and fee will be explained before you proceed.
Do I need to have all my documents ready before I book?
No. You can start with whatever you have. My first step is always to understand your situation — even if you're early in planning.
Will you communicate directly with my contractors or designers?
Yes, if that's within your service scope. I can join meetings by video, review correspondence, and communicate on your behalf when authorized — which works the same wherever your project is located.
What if I'm mid-project and things have already gone wrong?
This is actually very common. I'm experienced in project recovery situations and can quickly assess what's happening and how to protect you going forward.
